PRESCHOOL

November 3rd

This month we want to make sure that our preschoolers know that God is doing big things, so they can too! This week they see this when they learn about how Nehemiah and his men rebuilt the wall in Jerusalem. God moved in Nehemiah’s heart to do big things!

Lead Their Growth: When you go into your child’s room, cuddle them and say: “Good morning, [child’s name]! Did you know that God wants to help you to do big things with His strength? God loves you so much!”

ELEMENTARY

November 3rd

God is doing big things, so I can be bold by taking action!

Bible Story: Nehemiah 1:11-2:20 (Nehemiah takes a risk and asks the King of Persia if he can go and rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.)

Main Point: God is doing big things, so I can be bold by taking action!

Key Verse: “With God’s power working in us, God can do much, much more than anything we can ask or think of.”-  Ephesians  3:20 (ICB)

Lead their Growth: Ask, “What can you do to be bold for God?” Consider beginning each day this week by continuing to ask your child what actions they can take to be part of what God is doing each day, whether that’s spending time with God in prayer, inviting a friend to church, or helping around the house! Encourage your child to earn money or collect coins to give at our Giving Spinner each week. All the money in our Giving Spinner for the next few weeks is going to send chicken raising kits to families in need around the world!
