This month preschoolers are learning that I can thank God for everything. This week they see this when they learn about how David praised God with his own parade of thanks. We don’t have to wait for a certain time to thank God. We can thank Him all of the time. 

Lead Their Growth: When you go into your child’s room, cuddle them and say: “Good morning, [child’s name]! Since we can thank God for everything, let’s thank God for something right now. What should we thank God for? (Together) Thank You for [child’s choice], God!”

Bible Story: 1 Peter 2: 4-10, Mark 13: 1-2– We are God’s temple and God’s family!  

Main Point: I am a child of God, so my life can tell of God’s wonder! 

Monthly Verse: “God chose us to belong to Christ Jesus before the world was created. He chose us to be holy and without blame in His eyes. He loved us.” -Ephesians 1:4 

Lead their Growth: Ask your child,  “How can you share God’s wonder?” Consider looking up renderings of the Ancient Israelite temple and emphasize how our lives can be even more full of beauty and God’s wonder!
