PRESCHOOL

May 4th 

This month, we want our preschoolers to know that they have the Lord our God to help them. God helps them do big things. This week they see this when they learn about how Noah trusted God and built a big ark. He had big faith and God helped him to do big things.

Lead Their Growth: Cuddle with your child and pray: “Dear God, there is no one more powerful or bigger than You. No one loves us as big as You do. If we ever need help, You are the one who can help us.”

ELEMENTARY

God works through the Holy Spirit! 

Bible Story: Acts 16 (After Jesus goes to heaven, God sends the Holy Spirit to be our helper. God works through the Holy Spirit to lead Paul on missionary journeys to spread the good news.)

Main Point: God works through the Holy Spirit!

Key Verse:  “Those who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.” —Romans 8:14

Lead their Growth: Ask, “What kinds of things do you think the Holy Spirit might lead you to do?” Consider making it a routine when you’re driving home or eating dinner as a family to talk about ways each person saw God work throughout the day.
