This month preschoolers are learning that I can hear from God, pray to God, talk to others about God and live for God. This week they see this when they learn about Hannah. Hannah was in deep sorrow because she couldn’t have a baby. Hannah learned to share her feelings with God and God heard her.

Lead Their Growth: While on the go, talk to God about your day. What have you done? What are you going to do? How do you feel? What do you need? Thank God that you can talk to Him anytime, anywhere, and about anything.

May W2: God hears our prayers for others! 

Bible Story: Acts 12 (The believers pray for Peter in prison and Peter is set free by an angel!) 

Main Point: God hears our prayers for others! 

Monthly Verse: “But God has surely listened. He has heard my prayer. Give praise to God. He has accepted my prayer. He has not held back his love from me.” —Psalm 66:19–20 

Lead their Growth: Ask, “How are you praying for others?” Consider going on a prayer walk in your neighborhood or downtown and praying for the people and places you pass as you go. You could pray silently or encourage your kids to pray out loud. You can even ask God to reveal specific things to pray for or to do as you go.
