March 9th

This month, we are teaching our preschoolers about Jesus and how Jesus can do anything!  This week they see this when they learn about how Jesus healed a man that had been born blind. When asked how he could now see for the first time, he answered, “Jesus.” Jesus can heal anyone because Jesus can do anything!

Lead Their Growth: Pray with your child and say: “Dear God, thank You for sending Jesus to help people. Thank You that Jesus has the power to do things that only He can do.”

ELEMENTARY

March 9th

Bible Story: Luke 7 (Jesus is invited to a Pharisee’s house for dinner. A woman who has lived a sinful life enters and anoints Jesus with perfume. Jesus commends her faith and generously forgives her sins.)

Main Point: Jesus forgives generously!

Key Verse:  “Come to me, all you who are tired and are carrying heavy loads. I will give you rest.” —Matthew 11:28

Lead their Growth: Ask, “Who can Jesus help you forgive?” Consider sharing a story with your child of a time God helped you forgive someone in your life.
