March 2nd

This month, we are teaching our preschoolers about Jesus and how Jesus can do anything!  This week they see this when they learn about how Jesus saved His disciples by calming the storm. They see that Jesus can do anything because even the wind and waves obey Him!

Lead Their Growth: Cuddle with your child and pray: “Dear God, thank You for sunny days, rainy days, snowy days, and cloudy days. We can even thank You for the stormy days because we know Jesus is with us during the storms.”

ELEMENTARY

Jesus has the power to forgive and heal! 

Bible Story: Mark 2 (By miraculously giving the ability to walk to a man who is paralyzed, Jesus shows that He has power to forgive sins and to heal.)

Main Point: Jesus has the power to forgive and heal!

Key Verse:  “Come to me, all you who are tired and are carrying heavy loads. I will give you rest.” —Matthew 11:28

Lead their Growth: Ask, “When have you seen Jesus’ power to forgive and heal in your life or the life of someone you know?” In your family prayers this week, encourage your kids to ask God for forgiveness and to pray for healing.
