This month we’re celebrating Jesus because Jesus gives me joy! It’s the kind of joy that we can have no matter what. It is a joy that lasts forever! This week they see this when they learn that joy is something we can share with our friends. Jesus gives me joy and that is a wonderful thing to be a part of and share with others.
Lead Their Growth: When you go into your child’s room, cuddle them and say: “Good morning, [child’s name]! Did you get plenty of sleep? Are you ready to be a good friend? Let’s see how many people we can help have joy today.”

Main Point: God’s wisdom guides our paths!
Monthly Verse: “Take hold of my words with all your heart. Keep my commands, and you will live. Get wisdom, and get understanding. Don’t forget my words or turn away from them.” —Proverbs 4:4b–5
Key Question: Ask, “Why can we trust God’s wisdom?” Proverbs tells us that one reason we can trust God’s wisdom is because God created the entire universe! Consider going on a hike or stargazing outside one night and reflecting on creation shows us how awesome and trustworthy God is.
