PRESCHOOL

August 4th

This month we are teaching our preschoolers that God made us wonderful. We’re cooking up a lot of fun to go with this foundational truth. This week they see this when they learn about how God made each of us very different but also very wonderful.

Lead Their Growth: When you go into your child’s room, say: “Good morning! I see someone God made…and it’s YOU! (Cuddle child.) Do you know how God made you is amazing and wonderful? It’s true! [Child’s name] is wonderfully made by God.”

ELEMENTARY

August 4th: 

This month elementary students are learning about creativity, which is using your imagination to do something new. This week, we learned about how God created the world (Genesis 1). The main point was, “God created you to be creative.” 

Monthly Verse: “We are God’s creation. He created us to belong to Christ Jesus. Now we can do good works. Long ago God prepared these works for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10, NIrV

Lead Their Growth: Ask, “How can we show others what God is like?”
