PRESCHOOL

August 25th

This month we are teaching our preschoolers that God made us wonderful. We’re cooking up a lot of fun to go with this foundational truth. This week they see this when they learn about how God loves those He made so much that He gave us a very special gift…Jesus! Jesus is a special gift because Jesus is God’s son and He wants to be your friend forever.

Lead Their Growth: While on the go, talk about gifts you have been given and gifts you have given to others. Then, talk about how God loves us SO much that God gave us His Son, Jesus, to be our friend forever!

ELEMENTARY

August 25th:

This month elementary students are learning about creativity, which is using your imagination to do something new. This week, we learned about how people used their imagination to build the Tabernacle (Exodus 25:8-9; 28:1,3; 31:1-11, 35:21,25,34; 39:42-43).  The main point was, “Use your imagination to honor God.” 

Monthly Verse: “We are God’s creation. He created us to belong to Christ Jesus. Now we can do good works. Long ago God prepared these works for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10, NIrV

Lead Their Growth: Ask, “How can you use your imagination to honor God?”
