PRESCHOOL

August 11th

This month we are teaching our preschoolers that God made us wonderful. We’re cooking up a lot of fun to go with this foundational truth. This week they see this when they learn about how God made us in the image of God. People are the most special thing God made because God made us to be like Him, to be creative, to think and to help!

Lead Their Growth: While on the go, talk about how God made people in His image. One way we can see this is how God made people to help others the way God helps others. Think together of ways you can help others.

ELEMENTARY

August 11th:

This month elementary students are learning about creativity, which is using your imagination to do something new. This week, we learned about how God created us for a purpose (Ephesians 2:10). The main point was, “God created you for a purpose.” 

Monthly Verse: “We are God’s creation. He created us to belong to Christ Jesus. Now we can do good works. Long ago God prepared these works for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10, NIrV

Lead Their Growth: Ask, “Why is it important to remember God created us?”
