November 17th

This month we want to make sure that our preschoolers know that God is doing big things, so they can too! This week they see this when they learn about how Nehemiah did hard things and He did not give up. Sometimes God asks us to do hard things and He can help us not to give up.

Lead Their Growth: When you go into your child’s room, cuddle them and say: “Good morning, [child’s name]! Did you get plenty of sleep? Did you know that God loves you so much, and He can help you to not give up when you are doing big things?  Let’s see what big things we can do for God today.”

ELEMENTARY

God won’t stop doing big things, so I won’t either!

Bible Story: Nehemiah 4,6 (Nehemiah doesn’t quit even when others try to stop him.) 

Main Point: God won’t stop doing big things, so I won’t either! 

Key Verse: “With God’s power working in us, God can do much, much more than anything we can ask or think of.”-  Ephesians  3:20 (ICB) 

Lead their Growth: Ask, “How can you continue to be bold with God?” Practice ending each day this week by talking about how your family is seeing God work, and what God might want your family to do to be a part of what He’s doing. Our Giving Spinner will continue to be available, and your child can continue to give through it to be a part of all God is doing through our church.
