Outreach Ministries

At LifeChurch, our faith compels us to look beyond the walls of our church, reaching out in love to our local and global community. Our Outreach Ministries are dedicated to making a tangible difference in the lives of those in need, guided by our mission to love God, love others, and create positive change.

On Mission.

Locally and Around The World.

Locally, we work to impact the Reno and Carson City areas, partnering with local organizations to meet various needs, such as food insecurity, homelessness, and education. Our aim is to be a beacon of hope, reflecting God’s love in our actions and endeavors.

On a global scale, our Outreach Ministries support international missions and humanitarian organizations, helping to bring relief and spread the Gospel to all corners of the world. We passionately believe in the church’s call to be God’s hands and feet, reaching out to those who need it most, wherever they may be.

Have A Heart Washoe

When children cannot live safely in their home and no appropriate non-custodial parent, relative, or close family friend is willing and able to care for them, the court can give temporary legal possession to CPS. CPS temporarily places these children in foster care. Foster care is meant to be temporary until a permanent living arrangement is found. CPS strives to ensure quality services are provided, and a variety of initiatives are designed to increase placement options to better match the needs of each individual child.

Pathfinders

Society calls them “Children in Transition”, “At Risk Youth” and “Throw Away Kids”. Jesus calls them precious and loved. There are more than 5,000 children and youth in Northern Nevada who are homeless or living in motels, shelters and trailers. These children are trapped in a cycle and culture of poverty that is extremely difficult to escape. We believe that no child should be condemned to a life of hopelessness and lack of opportunity because of the circumstances into which they were born. We are on a mission to see that each and every child has a hope and a future.

We spark Kindness Movements in schools and communities across the United States. We have gathered a team of dynamic and inspirational speakers and thought leaders to create programs that not only talk about being Kind but inspire people to take action. Each year we travel the country on our national ’15 Days of Kindness’ school tour, where we challenge schools to change the world in just 15 days! It’s more than just a 1-hour presentation, it’s a 15-day challenge that calls students to action.

Foster the City
There are more children entering into foster care than there are foster families ready to open their hearts and homes.

Every day, in our cities, children are being removed from their biological families due to allegations of abuse or neglect. In addition to this harsh reality, many of these kids are shuffled around and displaced from their communities due to a shortage of loving and supported foster homes.

We believe that the church is uniquely positioned and called to answer this need. Together, we’re working towards a day when there will be a waiting list of families, rather than a waiting list of children in need of a home.
