July 27th

This month, we want our preschoolers to learn that “I can do what Jesus says” because He gave us very clear instructions on what to do, and then gave us the gift of His Holy Spirit to guide us and help us do it. This week the preschoolers will see this when Jesus tells His disciples to go and make disciples all over the world. Jesus wants us to go and love like Him. One way we can love like Jesus is to tell others about Jesus. Those disciples did what Jesus said and the love of Jesus changed the world forever.

Lead Their Growth: Place toy friends around the tub. Give your child a friend to walk around the tub to each friend and say: “Jesus loves you! You can follow Jesus and do what Jesus says!” Talk about how Jesus wants us to tell all people about Him and teach them to do what Jesus says.

God is with us when we worship!

Bible Story: 2 Chronicles 20 (With a huge army coming to attack, King Jehoshaphat gathers the people of Judah to pray. The army worships God on their way to meet the enemy, and God answers their prayer, defeating the enemy for them.)

Main Point: God is with us when we worship!

Key Verse:  “Worship the LORD with gladness. Come to him with songs of joy.” —Psalm 100:2

Lead their Growth: Ask, “How easy or hard is it for you to trust God is with you?”
