PRESCHOOL

August 10th

This month, we want our preschoolers to know that this beautiful world they live in was created by our loving, creative, and powerful God. This week the preschoolers will see this when they learn about how God created the land and seas and plants of all kinds on the third day, and it was good.

Lead Their Growth: While on the go, describe trees, plants, and bodies of water for your child to find. [These will vary based on where you live.] When you are done, talk about how God made land, plants, and seas on day three.

ELEMENTARY

August 10th

Bible Story: 2 Chronicles 20 (With a huge army coming to attack, King Jehoshaphat gathers the people of Judah to pray. The army worships God on their way to meet the enemy, and God answers their prayer, defeating the enemy for them.)

Main Point: God is with us when we worship!

Key Verse:  “Worship the LORD with gladness. Come to him with songs of joy.” —Psalm 100:2

Lead their Growth: Ask, “How easy or hard is it for you to trust God is with you?”
