July 13th 

This month, we want our preschoolers to learn that “I can do what Jesus says” because He gave us very clear instructions on what to do, and then gave us the gift of His Holy Spirit to guide us and help us do it. This week the preschoolers will see this when Jesus prayed for His disciples and all of the people who follow Him. That means He prayed for us too! Now He wants us to pray for one another to show that we love one another too.

Lead Their Growth: While on the go, think of people you can pray for. Each time a person is named, pray for them right then. How many people can you pray for before you get where you’re going?

God Is Honored When We Worship with Our Whole Hearts

Bible Story:  2 Samuel 6 (After David becomes king of Israel, he brings God’s ark of the covenant to his capital city, Jerusalem. Despite the discouraging attitude of his wife, Michal, David worships and sacrifices to God with his whole heart.)

Main Point: God Is Honored When We Worship with Our Whole Hearts

Key Verse:  “Worship the LORD with gladness. Come to him with songs of joy.” —Psalm 100:2

Lead their Growth: Ask,  “What might stop you from worshipping God with your whole heart?” Consider reading 2 Samuel 6 as a family and then having a crazy worship dance party like David did!
