This month preschoolers are learning that we know God loves us because He gave us Jesus. This week they see this when they learn about the shepherds that followed a bright star all the way to Jesus. The shepherds didn’t hesitate to go and tell everyone the good news that God gave us His Son Jesus.

Lead Their Growth: Cuddle with your child and pray: “God, thank You for giving Jesus to every person in the whole, wide world! Help us get excited about Jesus so we can go and tell everyone, everywhere that You love them and You gave them Your Son, Jesus!”

Church is online only! On this New Year’s Eve, consider making a list of all the good things from the past year your family wants to thank God for. Ask your kids what they feel like God taught them the past year and what they’re hoping in God for in the new year!
