This month, we want our preschoolers to know that this beautiful world they live in was created by our loving, creative, and powerful God. This week the preschoolers will see this when they learn about how God created day and night on the first day. Then on the second day He separated the waters and created the sky, and it was good.

Lead Their Growth: When you go into your child’s room, turn the light switch on and say: “Good morning, [child’s name]! God made the light!” Then cuddle your child and say: “What else did God make?” (Continue to cuddle and talk about all the things God made.)

God Invites Us to Worship and Celebrate!

Bible Story: Leviticus 23 (The Israelites celebrate God and worship Him by having a festival called the Feast of Tabernacles, which helps them remember how God rescued them from Egypt and provided for them in the desert.)

Main Point: God invites us (gesture toward you)  to worship (hands up) and celebrate (dance)!

Key Verse: Worship the LORD with gladness. Come to him with songs of joy. —Psalm 100:2
