March 23rd

This month, we are teaching our preschoolers about Jesus and how Jesus can do anything!  This week they see this when they learn about how Jesus feeds over 5,000 people with just five loaves of bread and two fish. As the disciples, and many more, saw that everyone ate and there were twelve baskets of leftovers, they knew that Jesus can do anything!

Lead Their Growth: While on the go, look for places that have food. When you see one, take guesses at how many people are eating at that food place. Talk about how Jesus did something amazing and fed over 5,000 people with just five loaves of bread and two fish! Wow! Jesus can do anything!

Jesus wants us to remember His death! 

Bible Story: Luke 22- At His last supper with His disciples, Jesus introduces Communion and asks His disciples to use the bread and the cup to remember His death.

Main Point: Jesus wants us to remember His death!

Key Verse:  “Come to me, all you who are tired and are carrying heavy loads. I will give you rest.” —Matthew 11:28

Lead their Growth: Ask your child, “Why is it important to remember Jesus’ death?” Consider taking communion together over a meal this week!
