What should I expect on my kid’s first visit?

Safety is our first priority. You will register your kids and receive check-in stickers when you arrive. To protect your children, we require a parent/guardian with a matching sticker to pick up after the experience.

What are worship experiences like?

One of the ways we "Love God" at LifeChurch is through the act of worshiping Him with our singing. We begin the worship experience with our worship team leading with songs – song lyrics will be projected so you can sing along and worship freely in a distraction-free environment. After the songs portion, one of our pastors will share an encouraging, relevant, biblical message that can be applied in our daily walk with God.

What will happen when I visit for the first time?

You will experience a friendly, intentional, engaging, exciting, welcoming and come-as-you-are environment because we believe that no matter your life story, background or past – You belong HERE!

From the parking lot to our patio and kids building you can chat with anyone on our greeting team. We strive to be a family, so please feel welcomed to say hi and ask for help with anyone you meet.

If you have kiddos, you will enter into our kids building where there will be someone at the desk to help you with the registration process. And, show you where classrooms are and make first connections with our teachers.

From there you can make your way to our patio area where you'll find our complimentary catering area stocked with snacks, coffee, and sweets to enjoy before service begins.

Once you enter our worship center, feel free to sit wherever you'd like. The main thing we want you to know is that before you arrive we’ve been praying for you! We can’t wait to meet you.

Who is this church for?

LifeChurch is for anybody, but not for everybody. All are welcomed here, but we also champion our other local churches and everyone to find their best fit.

We believe that we are never too far gone for Jesus. So don't let anything you've done or you're feeling hold you back from joining.

We'd love to do life with Y-O-U.

Why is church important?

We believe God models that life is meant to be done together. We are built to be in relationship - in fact we're hardwired for it.

Because of that, going to church is good for the Christian walk for many reasons:

  • nurtures spiritual growth
  • fosters a sense of community and fellowship
  • adheres to biblical teachings (see Hebrews 10:24-25)
  • provides moral and ethical guidance
  • offers opportunities for service
  • benefits personal and family life

Through regular attendance and active participation, we can deepen our faith, support one another, and live out the principles of our faith in tangible ways. So, all that said, we'll see you Sunday? 😉

Why do we go to church on Sunday?

Great question! We'll get a little bit more theological in our answer of this one but to quickly summarize...

Attending church on Sunday is rooted in the desire to honor and remember the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, which holds theological significance in the Christian faith. This practice was established in the early Church, reinforced by historical developments, and has continued as a way for Christians to come together in worship, rest, and community.

While the Sabbath (Saturday) was the traditional day of rest and worship in Jewish tradition, early Christians distinguished their practices by moving the primary day of worship to Sunday to honor the Resurrection. The concept of resting on the Sabbath and gathering for worship carried over into Christian practice, but with the new theological focus on Sunday.

How do I get connected?

We're so glad you asked. We know that as our church grows, it's easier to feel lost and harder to find your place in the space. But the truth is there are many people waiting to get to know y-o-u on a deeper level. Getting connected into a Bible study "lifegroup" or an activity based "connect group" is the best way to make church feel small. To check out our many different groups visit here.
