This month preschoolers are learning that Jesus loves everyone. This week they see this when they learn about how Zacchaeus was making bad choices, but when Jesus came to him, He said that he wanted to stay in Zacchaeus’ house. Why? Because Jesus loves us even when we do something wrong.
Lead Their Growth: Play the song “Zacchaeus Was A Wee
Little Man” during bath time. Repeat the song and sing along. You can even do the hand motions! Talk about how Jesus loved Zacchaeus even though he had done wrong things because Jesus loves everyone!

Lead their Growth: Ask, “How can you show compassion?” If there is anyone in your family’s life who is having a hard time, brainstorm ways you could work together to help them, such as bringing them a meal or making them an encouraging card.
